OUR MISSION
The Center is an open affirming environment for people of all sexualities, identities, and expressions. We empower our community through education, networking, advocacy, and collaboration. We strive to be a safe place for the queer community in Montana.
OUR VISION
We envision a Western Montana where 2SLBGTQ+ people can come together in pride and unity. We strive for safety, change, and togetherness.
ABOUT US
Western Montana LGBTQ+ Community Center is a safe place to land in downtown Missoula and a place to connect with queer community throughout western Montana.
Visibility and active participation in our community guides our work. We host events year-round and partner with others throughout Missoula and Montana to provide education, advocacy, and expand access to affirming spaces throughout the state. Through weekly drop in hours, social events and outdoor adventures, peer groups and community led initiatives, The Center fosters connection, leadership, and belonging for LGBTQ+ and Two-Spirit individuals.

Business Info
Our Location
The Center is located in the heart of downtown Missoula, just off the corner of Spruce Street and Higgins Avenue. Being downtown allows us to be visible, accessible, and connected to our community.
Our space is within walking distance of local businesses, restaurants, the river trail, and Mountain Line bus stops, making it easy to reach whether you’re coming by car, bike, bus, or on foot.
Parking
Downtown Missoula offers both metered street parking and nearby parking garages. Metered parking is available along Higgins, Spruce, and surrounding streets (free after 5:00 PM and on weekends). There are also public parking garages within a few blocks for longer visits.
If you’re attending a support group or evening event, parking is typically easier to find and often free.
Accessing the Center
For the safety and comfort of our community, we use a secure entry system. During drop-in hours (Monday–Friday, 1:00–5:00 PM), simply ring the doorbell and a staff member will welcome you in.
Our phones and email are answered and monitored Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
ADA-accessible entry is available. If you have specific accessibility needs or would like more information about building access, parking options, or navigating downtown, please contact us at hello@lgbtmontana.org
