The Center supports 2SLGBTQ+ youth and their families through care and belonging. We partner with and support the work of Queer Prom MT, uplifting teen and family programming across the community.
 

For Teens:
Our partners at Queer Prom MT host monthly Queer Café gatherings at locations around Missoula, occasional family-friendly activities, and two LGBTQ+ teen dances each year. Our partners at Empower MT host two weekly programs for 2SLGBTQ+ youth.

• Be You Crew (5th–8th grade), a supportive space for LGBTQ+ youth and allies to build friendships, grow confidence, and explore what makes them unique. This group meets weekly on Tuesdays from 4:30–6:00 PM at Empower MT.

• Youth Forward (9th - 12th), a drop in group that is open and welcomes any queer-identified high school youth to attend.

At The Center, we offer TNB & Co, a monthly drop-in space on the 4th Friday of the month, centered around trans and nonbinary teens, with allies welcome.
Snacks. Music. Just be. Drop in, hang out, or stay the whole time.

For Parents & Caregivers:
We offer a monthly support group for parents and caregivers of trans and nonbinary youth, as well as one-on-one support. This group is offered both virtually and in person. Parents and caregivers can RSVP by emailing emily@lgbtmontana.org.

The Center coordinates the MT Youth Gender Affirming Care Network and our team is also available to help families navigate LGBTQ+ care, access resources, and find support along the way. Email mtgac@lgbtmontana.org to connect with us.
