She/Her
I am a proud member of the queer community in Missoula. I volunteer at The Center to support our beloved community during these frankly, frightening times in American history. I plan to be here for the long haul, fighting by continuing to celebrate one another and by spreading joy whenever possible. I hope to continue to promote the safe and healing space that The Center’s Board Members/Leaders have created for us, teach about our community when asked, and help people find the best resources for their unique needs.

She/Her
Kelli is a social work practicum student from the University of Montana. She is excited to work at The Center and continue to make the LGBTQ+ community feel welcome and inspired in Missoula. She is originally from Washington but moved to the Midwest for a few years, and is excited to make her way back to the beautiful mountain region! She loves reading, hiking, arts/crafts, and going to fun events around Missoula. Her goal in her social work career is to eventually work with queer children and make the world a safer place for lgbtq+ youth. She is looking forward to learning more about how to support the local city while learning about policies that impact the queer community. She is looking forward to being here and can’t wait to hear from you.
At The Center, volunteers play a vital role in creating a welcoming and affirming space for our LGBTQ+ community. Volunteers support many aspects of our work—from welcoming community members during drop-in hours and assisting with events, to helping organize the Queer Clothing Closet, supporting programs, and lending their skills behind the scenes. Whether you have a few hours to give or want to get more involved, volunteering is a meaningful way to connect with community and help strengthen LGBTQ+ spaces in Western Montana.
